Reminderband vs. Wristband Resources
People buy rubber bracelets for a number of reasons. Businesses, brands, and causes rely on these bracelets for promotion and fundraising. While this item is relatively simple, there is variety among the different styles of rubber bracelets. There are also differences in the customization and buying experiences. Reminderband is one of the largest manufacturers of custom rubber bracelets. In this article, we will compare the buying experience of Reminderband to Wristband Resources™.
Types of Rubber Bracelets
Debossed
Debossed rubber bracelets are made with a laser engraver or mold. Your design is sunken into the surface of the silicone band and can be felt. On the other hand, embossed bracelets have the design raised from the surface of the band. Wristband Resources™ allows you to personalize your bands by choosing your font, text size, and up to four graphics.
Printed
Our printed silicone bracelets are made using silk-screen technology. The way it works is simple. You customize the bracelet to your liking and we print it over the top layer of the band, leaving a smooth, sleek texture.
Ink-Injected
Ink-injected bracelets combine debossing and printing to create a great wristband. First, we engrave your custom design into the band before it gets injected with long-lasting ink. This guarantees that your design will be protected from wearing over time.
Color-Coated
Color-coated wristbands are two-toned and fully customizable. The customization gets etched into the exterior layer of the band before being filled with ink matching the interior color of the band. This design displays the text more vividly and adds an artistic touch.
Buying Rubber Bracelets from Reminderband
The process of designing rubber bracelets through Reminderband is relatively simple. First, you begin by adding text to your band. You can add text to either side of your bracelet, 30 characters each. You can also choose your favorite font. This step is straightforward but lacks flexibility. You cannot stack text using separate text boxes. You also cannot adjust the size of your font.
The next step is to add graphics. You can add up to four graphics here using their library of clip art. Once more, you cannot adjust the size or position of your graphics. This limits the amount of customization you can do to your bands.
Buying Rubber Bracelets from Wristband Resources
We take great pride in offering the most flexible configuration for rubber bracelets. Using our online customization tool, you can add custom text in your organization’s branded font, add your own custom logos, and adjust the sizes of each proportionally. Here is how you do it.
Step One: Size and Color
The most common size, and the one that is considered standard, is our ½ inch band. However, you are more than welcome to select a different size if it tickles your fancy. Next choose a color or colors. For a complete list of all our different options, select See All Colors. Select the number of bands you want in each color.
Step Two: Create Your Design
In this step, we encourage you to experiment with different designs. Chances are, you know what you want your band to say. If so, perfect! Now you can play around with the different font and imprint color options (for ink-injected, color-coated, and printed bands). You can also adjust the size of your text. This might be helpful if your message is a little longer. Keep in mind that you can also add up to four graphics.
Step Three: Finalize
Now that you have the perfect design, double-check the spelling and everything. Our machines can only create what is given to them. Now, select your production and shipping times, approve your design, and add it to your cart. Wasn’t that easy?
