Overview of Direct Thermal Wristbands

Direct Thermal Wristbands are designed for you to print on them on demand with a direct thermal printer. This allows you to have a security wristband right at the point of sale so it can be customized uniquely for each and every customer that comes through the door. This gives you the ability to use names, linear barcodes, 2-D barcodes and more. You can also print text and some photos on the wristbands (they are black imprint only). They are designed to fit almost any size wristband and each band comes with a die cut adhesive closure so it must be destroyed to be removed.

Product Overview: Direct Thermal Bands

We offer direct thermal wristbands that are ready made so they are in stock and ready to ship. We offer half flood coats, stripes and a solid white. All of the color options come with a white printable area that is 3.5” x .825”. Although we have a white area for printing, you can print over the colored part of the bands as well. This means your entire printable area is 10” x .825”(bands are 11” long). The only part of the band we do not recommend printing on is over the die cut adhesive.

We have designed our direct thermal bands to be compatible with Zebra™ printers and they are also compatible with most other direct thermal printers. This gives you the flexibility to use our bands in a number of different printers. Depending on the size of the order, we can do a number of customizations to allow the bands to work for your printer.

Our direct thermal bands are 11” x 1” have a 1” core with a roll diameter of 4.125”. Each 500 pack will contain 2 rolls of wristbands with 250 bands per roll.

Are Direct Thermal Wristbands Waterproof?

Our bands stay on in water and the imprint will not come off. This lets your customer swim, shower or even spill a drink on the band, which means our bands can be used at a wide variety of events.
