Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer, with over 300,000 new cases expected in the US in 2023. Being so common, it is no wonder that we dedicate the month of October to wearing pink and supporting those fighting this disease, as well as honoring those who have overcome it. At Wristband Resources™, we understand that this nasty disease affects people on a personal level, which is why we supply only the highest-quality breast cancer bracelets made from the most durable silicone. This article will discuss the difference between buying breast cancer bracelets in stores vs. online.
Breast Cancer Bracelets in Stores
Most major retail chains like Kohl’s, Walmart, and Hobby Lobby sell pink breast cancer bracelets with common designs containing text that reads: Strength, Hope, Survivor, Cancer Sucks, etc. The benefit of buying breast cancer bracelets in stores is immediate fulfillment. While you may find a design that is satisfactory, these bracelets lack personalization. Families and friends often prefer to customize these bracelets (and other items) to feature a person’s name, a personal mantra, or a religious text that inspires them. This added personalization provides value to these items and shows support to the person for whom you are ordering these items.
Breast Cancer Bracelets Online
If personalization is what you desire, you should avoid buying breast cancer bracelets in stores. Instead, you should consider buying them online where you can create the perfect customization. You may be inclined to turn to Amazon, and while you can customize pink rubber bracelets there, this is not the best option. Wristband Resources™ gives you additional customization options that are simply unmatched by retail stores and online marketplaces. Here is how you can design your own.
Design Your Own
Step One: Choose a Style
We offer a multitude of different bracelet styles. Here are a few of them:
Embossed bracelets add a three-dimensional aspect to your design by raising your text and graphics from the surface of your band. With the touch of your finger, you will feel your design.
Debossed bracelets are different from embossed ones. Instead of raising the text from the surface of the band, the design is engraved into the band with a laser engraver. It is also important to note that debossed bracelets have the longest lifespan.
Imprinted bracelets are our most popular style. To create these, we print your graphics and text to the surface of the band using wear-resistant ink. This allows you to achieve the most design detail of any style.
To create ink-injected bracelets, we begin by debossing your bracelet before filling your engraving with high-quality ink. This ink helps protect your bracelet from wear and tear.
These two-toned bracelets are first debossed before being filled with ink matching the interior of the band. This creates a striking contrast that amplifies your text.
Step Two: Choose a Band Size
Most breast cancer bracelets come in our ½ inch size, but you are welcome to choose any of our band sizes. Some of our customers choose a larger size if they wish to create a larger design.
Step Three: Band Colors
Traditionally, breast cancer bracelets are solid light pink. However, you also can choose from some of our similar color options, like pink glow, light pink/purple swirl, and hot pink/light pink segmented. The choice is all yours!
Step Four: Text and Graphics
You can add up to 30 characters of text on both the front and back of the band. You can choose from any of our many fonts, and adjust the size accordingly. You can also add up to four graphics. We offer free clip art—click Change and toggle to the category called Causes & Fundraising. Here you will find ribbons and other art commonly associated with breast cancer. If none of these interest you, you may also upload graphics from your device.
You have just created your bracelet. All that’s left is to review it and approve your design!
